One of the objectives of Hand in Hand Zimbabwe is to contribute to improved learning environment and learning and occupational opportunities through adaptable demand driven novel and innovative interventions that promote:
- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH),
- career guidance and development,
- learners’ participatory engagement with communities,
- and make good use of technological devices that promote learning,
- technical and vocational material for skills learning for learners
- health and nutrition
The organization works in collaboration with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education and other like-minded organization and government departments in the promotion of the competence-based curriculum through rehabilitation and establishment of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure using climate smart energy and technologies, provision of Career Exhibition Logistics for schools and school children and engagement in funding for Community Services Fairs through participatory programming, improvement of health and nutrition through a schools feeding initiative values based envisioning and support of school health, motivation and life skills development.
