Hand in Hand Zimbabwe offers business development trainings that are designed to equip rural entrepreneurs with knowledge and practical skills in business development for employment and wealth creation.
These trainings include Self Help Group strengthening, managing money, opportunity identification, enterprise development, marketing, record keeping, credit management, gender, environment, health and motivation. The organisation also offers technical skills trainings in collaboration with various partner organisations.
Through these unique trainings, the organisation has trained over 23 000 rural entrepreneurs in its 7 districts of operation culminating in 14 619 established businesses since 2015.
The organisation offers these business development trainings in a bid to curb unemployment financial dependency and poverty through addressing lack of knowledge, lack of funding, idleness, hopelessness, and lack of motivation. The technical knowledge along with entrepreneurial skills, create an ecosystem for the local communities to set up/ enhance their own enterprises, earn sustainable incomes and improve their livelihoods.
