Hand in Hand Zimbabwe recently handed over inputs worth USD$4500 to three (3) Self Help groups(SHG)s in Lupane district who won the second phase of the Market Linkages Competition.
This is in line with the Market Linkages Projects’s aim to help entrepreneurs boost their businesses so as to secure viable markets.
First prize winner Zubhatile Cluster SHG from Gwai Ward received building material, packaging material, 9 food handlers certificates and baking ingredients worth USD$2000 to boost their baking enterprise
Thuthukani SHG from Dandanda Ward, who scooped the second prize received building material, a bicycle, baking ingredients, drink making ingredients, 9 food handlers certificates and packaging material worth USD$1500.
Baking, poultry, goats keeping-focused Vukuzenzele SHG from Sobendle Ward, were awarded with 70 local indigenous chickens, building material, pesticides, 8 food handlers certificates and chicken feed worth their USD$1000 third prize input voucher.
